This hiking route will take you through the stunning natural beauty of the area surrounding Pas de l'escalette. Starting at an elevation of 1466 meters, the trail will guide you along a total distance of 7.6 kilometers with an elevation gain of 907 meters.
As you begin your journey, you will pass by several points of interest including parking areas for your convenience. Along the way, you will come across the Cabana de Pomero wilderness hut at 1 kilometer from the start, offering a resting place with 24/7 access.
At the 3-kilometer mark, you will encounter two water sources providing a refreshing break on your hike. Additionally, there is a picnic site and a BBQ area nearby for you to enjoy a meal amidst nature's beauty.
As you continue further, you will reach the Saut de Pomèro waterfall, a picturesque spot to pause and admire the cascading waters. Additionally, informative signs along the trail will provide you with insights into the local flora and fauna.
At the 3-kilometer mark, you will reach the Còth de Lunfèrn and Pas dera Escaleta saddles, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. A viewpoint at Pas de l'escalette will provide you with a breathtaking vista of the area.
