This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area of Gletschertor, Eggeri, and Suon. With a total distance of 5.417 kilometers and an elevation gain of 406 meters, this moderate difficulty hike offers a great outdoor experience for hikers.
Starting at the trailhead, you will come across the Riederstübli restaurant about 0.25 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to grab a bite or a refreshing drink before starting your journey.
As you continue along the trail, at around 0.76 kilometers from the start, you'll find a bench where you can take a rest and enjoy the surrounding nature. Further along, at 1.92 kilometers, you'll encounter the Bei Chilcherli waterfall, a beautiful natural wonder worth admiring.
Around the midway point of the hike, at 2.31 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Gletschertor information point, where you can learn more about the area and its history. Continuing on, at 2.44 kilometers, there is a water source available for refilling your water bottles.
At 1.59 kilometers from the starting point, there is a bench for hikers to take a break and soak in the scenery. Additionally, at 0.51 kilometers, you'll come across a historic wayside shrine, adding a cultural touch to your hike.
Finally, at the end of the circular route, around 0.04 kilometers from the start, you'll find another information point providing insights into the local area. Once you complete the hike, you can return to the parking area around 0.0 kilometers from the start.
