This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Huda steza. The trail is 3.221 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 444 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.
Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. About 0.7 kilometers from the start, you will reach Forcella Mangart / Mangartsko sedlo, a saddle where you can take a break and enjoy the view. Further along the trail at 0.98 kilometers, you will see a historic boundary stone. At 1.15 kilometers, there is another boundary stone marking a significant point along the route.
As you continue on, you will pass by peaks such as Mt. Traunig and Rateški Mali Mangart / Piccolo Mangart, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. At the end of the trail, 1.61 kilometers in, you will reach Mangart, a peak that marks the turnaround point of the hike.
Before setting out on this hike, make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast. The route is an out-and-back type, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.
