This hiking route takes you to Rateški Mali Mangart / Piccolo Mangart in a beautiful natural setting. The trail is super easy with a total distance of 1.578 kilometers and an elevation gain of 75 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.
Starting at the parking area at the beginning of the trail, you will pass by the information point about the area at 0.75 kilometers from the start. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across Forcella Mangart / Mangartsko sedlo, a saddle located 0.7 kilometers from the start, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Further along the route, at 0.79 kilometers from the start, you will find a historic boundary stone marking the area. Continuing on, you will reach Forcella della Lavina / Klanška škrbina, another saddle, although not directly on the trail at 0.0 kilometers from the start.
For those interested in peaks, the trail also passes by Travnik / Mt. Traunig at 0.61 kilometers from the start, and Rateški Mali Mangart / Piccolo Mangart at 0.79 kilometers from the start. These peaks offer panoramic views of the area and are worth the extra distance.
