Welcome to the hiking route to Matzpe Shemesh on the Ridge Trail in the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council area. This picturesque area offers stunning views and a leisurely hike for nature lovers.
As you start your journey, you'll find a convenient parking area right at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to have all your hiking gear ready before you set off. The first point of interest along the way is a viewpoint located 2.5 kilometers from the start. Take a moment to enjoy the beautiful scenery and maybe even snap a few photos.
As you continue along the trail, around 2.08 kilometers from the start, you'll come across a bench where you can take a rest and soak in the surroundings. A little further down the path, at 2.12 kilometers, you'll find a lovely picnic site perfect for a quick snack or lunch break.
Towards the end of your hike, approximately 2.5 kilometers from the start, you'll reach another picnic site where you can relax before heading back. The total distance of this out-and-back route is around 4.994 kilometers, with an elevation gain of 128 meters.
