This extremely difficult 20.222-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the stunning Pic de Panestrel. The trail starts at a parking area with no fee where you can leave your vehicle and begin your adventure.
As you make your way along the challenging path, you will come across the Chalet de Maljasset, an alpine hut located 0.03 kilometers from the trail. This cozy accommodation option is wheelchair accessible and offers outdoor smoking areas. Feel free to take a break here and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
Further along the route, at approximately 1.49 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water source that is wheelchair accessible and free to use. Stay hydrated and refill your water bottles to keep energized throughout the hike.
