Welcome to the Via Alta Vallemaggia hiking route! This trail offers a challenging 6.553-kilometer trek with an elevation gain of 657 meters, making it suitable for experienced hikers.

Starting at the parking area near Fusio, you'll find yourself surrounded by the breathtaking natural beauty of the area. As you begin your journey, you can learn more about the region at the Fusio information point, located just 0.06 kilometers from the start.

As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across several points of interest, including the Còrt du Sass information point at 3.26 kilometers into the hike, the Pass da Còrt Mézz information point at 2.96 kilometers, and the Córt Fónd Vacarisc information point at 2.17 kilometers. These spots provide valuable insights into the history and culture of the area.

Halfway through your hike, be sure to visit the Córt Fónd Vacarísc information point at 1.97 kilometers, and don't miss the stunning viewpoint at 3.28 kilometers, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
