This hiking route to Lacs Blancs is located in a beautiful area with stunning mountain views and crystal-clear alpine lakes. The trail is 12.226 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 683 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across Maroqua parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. Along the way, at 6.08 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source to refill your bottles and take a refreshing break.

Continuing on, at 2.95 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Refuge d'Ambin, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy the scenic surroundings. Near the hut, there is also an information point providing valuable insights about the area.

As you approach the midpoint of the trail, at 4.05 kilometers from the start, you will come across Passerelle d'Ambin, a picturesque footbridge perfect for capturing some memorable photos.

Finally, after a challenging but rewarding trek, you will reach the stunning Lacs Blancs at around 6.11 kilometers from the start. Take some time to relax by the lakes, soak in the beauty of the natural surroundings, and maybe even have a picnic before heading back.
