This hiking route is an extremely difficult 12.731-kilometer circular trail that features an elevation gain of 809 meters. The estimated duration for completing this challenging hike is approximately 4 hours and 58 minutes.
The trail starts at La Plataforma de Gredos, which is a parking area at the beginning of the route. As you venture further along the trail, you will come across various points of interest such as a shelter, a biergarten, and several natural water sources scattered along the route. These water sources are essential for staying hydrated during the hike, so be sure to bring an ample supply of water and snacks.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter the Morezón peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding natural landscape. As you continue on, you will pass by several other peaks like Risco del Faccioso, Cerro de la Cagarruta, and others, each providing a unique perspective of the area.
Towards the end of the trail, you will reach Vivac - Canal de la Pluma, a shelter facility where you can rest and take in the beauty of the surroundings before making your way back to the starting point.
