This hiking route takes you through a scenic area with beautiful viewpoints and historic landmarks. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting at a parking area that is conveniently located right at the trailhead.

As you start your journey, you will come across a picnic site just 0.03 kilometers from the beginning of the trail, perfect for a quick break before continuing on. Further along the trail, at 1.21 kilometers in, you will find the Cappella Roccolo wayside shrine, adding a touch of history to your hike.

At the 1.56 kilometers mark, there is a drinking water fountain for you to refill your bottles and stay hydrated. Nearby, you can also find the Ompio-Alpe Ruspesso information point if you wish to learn more about the area.

As you approach the Belvedere viewpoint at the 2.0 kilometers mark, make sure to take in the breathtaking scenery before heading back. On your way back, you can stop by the Cappella di Erfo shrine at 0.01 kilometers and the fountain at 1.68 kilometers for a serene moment of rest.
