The route is a circular trail that spans 5.232 kilometers with an elevation gain of 380 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. The estimated duration for this hike is 2 hours and 9 minutes.

Starting your journey, you will come across the Albergo Rosalpina about 0.85 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat before continuing your adventure. As you trek further, at around 1.53 kilometers in, you will encounter the Regina Mundi viewpoint, offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.

Make sure to stay hydrated throughout your hike, especially since drinking water is available at around 0.86 kilometers into the trail. It is recommended to bring enough water and snacks for the hike.

Continuing onwards, other points of interest include the Cascata del Ponale waterfall, located approximately 2.43 kilometers from the starting point. A visit to the Ponale Alto Belvedere biergarten can provide a relaxing break 2.51 kilometers into the hike.

As you reach the end of your journey, you will encounter La Cros wayside cross at around 2.52 kilometers. This marks the completion of the circular route.
