The Rauensteinweg is a super easy hiking trail that spans approximately 0.6 kilometers with an elevation gain of 34 meters. This route is perfect for beginners or for those looking for a quick outdoor excursion.

As you begin your journey, you'll come across the Berggaststätte Fels Rauenstein, a charming restaurant located just 0.2 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat or a refreshing drink before continuing on your hike.

Along the trail, you'll encounter several viewpoints with stunning vistas of the surrounding landscape. Be sure to stop at these viewpoints to take in the beauty of the area.

Midway through the hike, you'll find the Nonne peak, a popular climbing spot with a wealth of information about the area. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the geological features of the region.

As you near the end of the trail, you'll pass by the Rauenstein peak and various benches and shelters where you can take a break and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.

For those interested in exploring further, there are cave entrances such as the Lehmannschluchthöhle and the Nonnensteinhöhle located a short distance away from the trail.
