Starting off at the trailhead, you'll come across The Langstrath Inn just 0.03 kilometers from the start. This charming pub is a great spot to grab a meal or a drink before or after your hike. As you continue on, you'll pass by the National Trust Campsite around the halfway point at 0.56 kilometers from the start. If you're looking to extend your adventure overnight, this campsite is a convenient option.

For those driving to the trailhead, there are parking options available at the beginning of the route as well as a little further into the hike. Keep in mind that bringing plenty of water is essential, especially on warmer days. Additionally, be sure to check the weather forecast before heading out to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

As you make your way back, be sure to stop by the Peathouse Tea & Coffee Shop for a tasty treat. And don't miss the two waterfalls along the trail, with one located at the 0.61-kilometer mark and the other at 1.37 kilometers from the start. These natural features provide a beautiful backdrop to your hike and a perfect place to take a break and admire the scenery.
