Welcome to the hiking route to Bessyboot! This trail offers a moderate level of difficulty with a total distance of 4.559 kilometers and an elevation gain of 405 meters.

Starting at the parking area, you will make your way through the picturesque surroundings, passing by The Langstrath Inn just 0.03 kilometers from the start. This cozy pub is a great spot to grab a drink or a meal before or after your hike.

As you continue on the trail, you'll come across National Trust Campsite around 0.56 kilometers from the start. This is a convenient stop for camping if you wish to extend your adventure and spend the night in the great outdoors.

Around 0.61 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the stunning waterfall known as Bessyboot. Take a moment to admire the cascading water and enjoy the calming sounds of nature.

Throughout the hike, you'll also find various water sources along the trail for you to refill your bottles and stay hydrated. Additionally, Peathouse Tea & Coffee Shop is located at the beginning of the trail, providing a perfect spot to grab a warm beverage before heading out or a refreshing drink on your way back.
