This extremely difficult 11.295-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Tuca de Tempestats / Tuca Gran de Llosás in a remote and picturesque area.
Starting at the parking area, you will follow a challenging trail that leads you through rugged terrain and offers breathtaking views along the way. Be prepared for a total elevation gain of 1249 meters as you make your way towards the destination.
Along the route, you will encounter various points of interest including the Ibón de Llosás, a beautiful water feature located 3.4 kilometers from the start. Further along at 3.69 kilometers, you will find the Ibonet de Llosás, another picturesque water spot that is closer to the trail.
As you continue on, you will pass by the Refugio de Coronas wilderness hut, situated right on the trail at the beginning. Midway through the hike, at 5.65 kilometers, you will reach the Tuca de Tempestats / Tuca Gran de Llosás peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Additionally, you will come across the Tuca de la Brecha de Tempestats peak and the saddle point, both located 5.65 kilometers from the start although slightly off the trail.
