This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Tuca de Tempestats / Tuca Gran de Llosás in the area. With a total distance of 11.295 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1249 meters, this hike will challenge even the most experienced hikers.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the Ibón de Llosás, a beautiful water feature located 3.4 kilometers from the start. As you continue on, you will come across the Ibonet de Llosás, another water spot closer to the 3.69 kilometers mark. These serene water bodies provide a perfect place to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
Midway through the hike, you will reach the Refugio de Coronas, a wilderness hut located right on the trail. This is a great spot to rest and refuel before continuing on towards the main peak.
The highlight of the hike is reaching the Tuca de Tempestats / Tuca Gran de Llosás peak at 5.65 kilometers from the start. This majestic peak offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area and is a rewarding end point for the journey.
