Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, you will be surrounded by the tranquility of the natural landscape. As you begin your journey, you will come across the beautiful Port Goulphar beach, located just 0.34 kilometers from the start, where you can take a moment to soak in the sun and enjoy the sound of the waves.

Continuing along the trail, at around 1.53 kilometers, you will encounter a water feature, adding a refreshing touch to your hike. Along the way, there are also informative points of interest, such as an information center at 1.42 kilometers, giving you a deeper understanding of the area's history and significance.

For sustenance or a break, you can find the Le Marie-Galante restaurant located 0.12 kilometers from the start, offering a chance to refuel and recharge before heading back. Additionally, bicycle parking and more parking areas are available midway through the trail for your convenience.
