This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Garp ‘dla Räna Giäna. The trail is an out-and-back route, starting at a convenient parking space near the trailhead. Before you begin your hike, make sure to check the weather forecast and pack plenty of water for the journey.
As you start your hike, you will come across the Pilone di Bric Berciassa wayside shrine, just 2 kilometers from the start. This historic site offers a glimpse into the past of the area. Further along the trail, you will encounter the Bric Berciassa information point, providing interesting insights about the surroundings.
Continuing on, you will reach the Pilone di Tetto Torre wayside shrine, followed by additional information points along the way. Be sure to take a break at the benches scattered throughout the trail to rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
As you near the end of the route, you will reach the Croce di Fontanelle wayside cross, a historic landmark with breathtaking views. Finally, you will arrive at the Garp ‘dla Räna Giäna viewpoint, located 2 kilometers from the end. Marvel at the stunning scenery before heading back along the same trail.
With a total distance of 6.2 kilometers and an elevation gain of 324 meters, this hike offers a moderate challenge for hikers of all levels. Take your time to appreciate the beauty of the area and don't forget to respect nature by following Leave No Trace principles.
