This hiking route will take you through a challenging and extremely difficult terrain, covering a distance of approximately 25.914 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1471 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is around 9 hours and 40 minutes.
The trail starts in a beautiful area surrounded by lush greenery and stunning views. As you begin your journey, you will come across a parking area right at the start of the trail. Make sure to park your vehicle here before embarking on the hike.
Approximately 8.23 kilometers into the hike, you will find a drinking water station, where you can refill your water bottles and stay hydrated. Another drinking water station is located at around 2.52 kilometers from the start point, followed by one at 2.37 kilometers and another at 10.33 kilometers.
Midway through the hike, at 12.88 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Mirador Flor de Acebos o Mirador de la Reina viewpoint. This is a perfect spot to take a break, enjoy the panoramic views, and maybe even take some photos. Nearby, there is a Fuente (drinking water station) for you to refill your supplies.
At 4.14 kilometers from the start, you will come across another drinking water station called Fuente Los Prascones. Take advantage of these stations to ensure you have an adequate water supply throughout the hike.
