Welcome to the Sentiero Roma hiking route!

This moderate 5.379-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a delightful journey through the stunning landscape of the area. With an elevation gain of 314 meters, hikers can expect a moderately challenging yet rewarding hike.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your adventure on this trail that will lead you through picturesque scenery. Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest.

Approximately 0.13 kilometers from the start, you will come across a natural water source. This is a great spot to refill your water bottles and take in the peaceful surroundings. Continuing on, at around 1.99 kilometers into the hike, there is another water source nearby for your convenience.

As you trek further, at about 2.46 kilometers, you will find the Rifugio Gherardi alpine hut. This is a perfect place to take a break, enjoy a meal, and soak in the mountain atmosphere. The hut is open from mid-June to mid-September, with limited hours during the rest of the year.

At the turnaround point of the hike, approximately 2.11 kilometers from the beginning, you will encounter a peak with breathtaking views. Take a moment to rest and admire the beauty that surrounds you before heading back on the trail.
