This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of El Caracol, offering stunning views and a variety of natural landmarks to explore. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 4.182 kilometers and an elevation gain of 246 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before beginning the hike. Along the way, you will encounter "El Caracol," a distinctive rock formation located 2.02 kilometers from the start of the trail. This unique landmark is a great spot for taking photos and admiring the natural beauty of the area.
Continuing on, you will pass by several peaks, such as "Risco del Ofertorio" and "Collado del Alcornocal," offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Be sure to stop by the shelters located at 1.52 and 1.61 kilometers from the start for a rest or a quick snack.
Further along the trail, you will find "Cueva del Ave María," a cave entrance located 1.88 kilometers from the start, adding a sense of adventure to your hike. As you approach the midway point, you can refuel at the shelter situated at 1.63 kilometers from the start before continuing on your journey.
Towards the end of the trail, you will reach "Collado de la Cueva," a saddle point located 1.82 kilometers from the start, offering a peaceful resting spot before completing the loop.
