The trail begins at a parking area located right at the trailhead. As you start your hike, you will come across a beautiful natural spring called Fontana, located 1.03 kilometers from the starting point. This is a great spot to take a break and refill your water bottles.

Continuing along the trail, you will pass by the Sponde Nere information point at 1.31 kilometers and the Contrada Scandole information point at 1.01 kilometers. These points provide interesting insights into the surrounding area and its history.

Around 2.45 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter another water feature, adding to the natural beauty of the surroundings. Further along the trail, at 0.77 kilometers, you will find another spring called Fontanon.

For those interested in exploring caves, there are two cave entrances along the trail. The Grotta di Contrada Scandole is located 1.12 kilometers from the start, while the Buso Scandole cave entrance is situated at 0.59 kilometers.
