This hiking route will take you through the beautiful countryside to the Schönbergfelsen destination. The trail is 6.575 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 286 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Gasthaus "Zum Überleben" restaurant located just 28.5 meters from the trail. It's a great spot to grab a bite to eat before heading further. Along the way, you will pass by the Hochficht peak which is about 2.53 kilometers from the start of the trail. This is a perfect spot to take in some breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
Midway through the hike, you will find the Schönbergfelsen peak and the Stinglfelsen peak, located 3.29 and 1.88 kilometers from the start respectively. These peaks offer stunning panoramic views and are great for a rest before continuing on your journey.
As you make your way back, you can stop by the Schönbergkreuz wayside cross located 3.29 kilometers from the start. This historical site adds a cultural touch to your hike.
