Hiking : Cima di Cavedo

This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Cima di Cavedo in the Grigna Settentrionale Regional Park. The trail spans 6.362 kilometers in distance and features an elevation gain of 781 meters, making it a difficult yet rewarding journey.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your ascent towards the summit of Monte La Porta, located 2.01 kilometers from the start. As you make your way along the trail, you'll pass by the Monumento ai caduti and the Bocchetta di Cavedo saddle at around 0.0 kilometers from the start.

Around the midway point of the hike, you'll reach the Bivacco Baitello Casis wilderness hut, a perfect spot to rest and take in the surrounding wilderness. Further along the trail, you'll encounter the peaks of Cima di Cavedo and Cima di Parlasco, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the region.

For sustenance along the way, the Osteria del Lasco cafe is located at the trailhead, while drinking water sources can be found at various points along the route. Additionally, informational points such as the Parco Regionale della Grigna Settentrionale provide insights into the local ecosystem and history.

As you near the end of the hike, you'll come across the Madonna col bambino wayside shrine and a bench for a moment of quiet reflection before reaching the trailhead.
