This extremely difficult out-and-back trail spans a distance of 21.293 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1774 meters, making it a challenging yet rewarding journey for experienced hikers.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the Großer Timmler Schwarzsee - Lago Nero del Tumulo, a picturesque lake located 5.22 kilometers from the start. As you continue on, you'll encounter various points of interest such as the Siegerlandhütte alpine hut (8.02 km from the start), the Timmelsalm - Malga Tumulo restaurant (1.76 km from the start), and the Windachscharte saddle (6.79 km from the start).

Along the trail, you'll find essential amenities such as parking areas, drinking water sources, and shelters to rest and refuel. Be sure to stay hydrated and pack enough water for the journey, as well as snacks to keep your energy levels up.

As you make your way towards Scheiblehnkogel, at 10.65 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the peak offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Take your time to soak in the beauty of the surroundings before retracing your steps back to the trailhead.
