This challenging hike will take you to the stunning Station Mir (at an altitude of 3500 meters), offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area.
The trail spans approximately 9.7 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1080 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure for experienced hikers.
Starting at the Azau parking area, you will pass by several points of interest along the way. About 0.15 kilometers into the trail, you'll find a memorial dedicated to the defenders of Elbrus. As you continue, you'll come across cafes such as "Gorets" and "Full House" where you can grab a bite to eat and refuel.
Around the 3.05-kilometer mark, you'll encounter a natural spring, perfect for rehydrating before pushing on. If you're in need of a rest, "Cafe Free Ride" is just 0.01 kilometers away.
Throughout the hike, you'll also have the opportunity to see majestic waterfalls like Sarikaya-Su and other viewpoints like Ice Palace.
