This challenging hiking route will take you through the beautiful area around the Startplatz Paragliding. The total distance of the hike is approximately 7 kilometers with an elevation gain of 537 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous trek.
As you begin your journey, you will pass by Sport Wöll, a parking area located right at the start of the trail. Continuing on, you'll come across Alpengasthaus Karwendel, a charming alpine hut and restaurant, perfect for a rest and a bite to eat about midway through the hike.
Further along the trail, you'll encounter Rodlhütte Pertisau and Via Pasto, two more options for sustenance, before reaching the Himmelstor memorial and the Zwölferkopf peak. These landmarks offer stunning views and a chance to catch your breath before making your way back.
Throughout the hike, you'll find various information points and benches to rest and take in the surroundings. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before you go. Happy hiking!
