This hiking route will take you to the Pic de Pista in the beautiful wilderness of Pays Basque. The trail is 9.086 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1034 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 4 hours and 41 minutes to complete.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across the Cayolar de Pista Pékoa wilderness hut about 1.75 kilometers into the hike. This non-guarded hut is a great place to take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Continuing on, at around 2.36 kilometers from the start, you will find an archaeological site to explore.

About 1.9 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the stunning Cascade de Pista waterfall, a perfect spot to rest and take in the beauty of the area. Further along the trail, at 2.68 kilometers from the start, there is a drinking water source to refill your supplies.

As you approach the peak, around 4.54 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Pic de Pista, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. This is a great spot to sit back, relax, and take in the beauty of the wilderness.
