This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Botev Peak. Botev Peak is the highest peak in the Balkan Mountains and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
As you start your hike, you will pass by a parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before starting the trail. Make sure to check the forecast before heading out and bring plenty of water as this hike is quite challenging, with a distance of 13.146 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1459 meters.
Along the way, you will come across a couple of drinking water spots to stay hydrated, one of which is located about 0.2 kilometers from the start of the trail. There is also a viewpoint about 4.86 kilometers into the hike, where you can take a break and admire the scenery.
Midway through the hike, you will find another drinking water spot as well as a parking area. Towards the end of the trail, at a distance of 2.89 kilometers from the start, you will reach Kupata Peak, offering panoramic views of the area.
