This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you through a challenging 14.7 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1759 meters in a total duration of approximately 7 hours and 48 minutes.

Located in a beautiful natural area, the trail starts at Guttannen, where you can find parking at the beginning of the route. Make sure to grab some information about the area from the local information point before you head out. As you begin your journey, you'll pass by Furtwangsattel, a notable saddle point about 6.3 kilometers from the start.

Midway through your hike, you'll come across Tälliseeli, a serene water body located approximately 7.4 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect spot to take a break, enjoy the scenery, and refuel yourself. As you make your way back, you can stop by Bären, a restaurant just 0.14 kilometers from the start, and grab a delicious meal to recharge.

Throughout the trail, there are several drinking water points located at various distances from the start, ensuring that you stay hydrated during your challenging journey.
