This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area of Holzfluh, starting at an elevation of 517 meters and reaching a destination at 712 meters. The total distance of the route is 2.422 kilometers with an elevation gain of 196 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.

As you start your journey, you will come across the picturesque Balsthaler Wasserfall, a stunning waterfall right at the beginning of the trail. You can take a moment to admire the cascading water before continuing on your adventure.

Along the way, you will find several benches where you can rest and take in the surrounding nature. There are also drinking water stations available to fill up your water bottle and stay hydrated during the hike.

After about 1 kilometer, you will reach a viewpoint called Holzfluh, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the area. This is a perfect spot to take some photos and appreciate the natural beauty of the surroundings.

As you make your way back, you can visit the Holzflue peak, another natural feature worth exploring. The route will then lead you back to the starting point, passing by the Balsthaler Wasserfall once again.
