This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and various points of interest to explore along the way.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the Burgrestaurant Gebhardsberg located about 0.3 kilometers from the start. This restaurant offers a perfect spot to grab a bite to eat before or after your hike. As you continue on the trail, you will come across several benches situated at different points along the route, providing opportunities to rest and take in the surrounding scenery.
About halfway through the hike, at 0.5 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Wanzenburgboulder, a notable rock formation that is popular among climbers. As you approach the endpoint of the trail, there are additional climbing spots such as Känzele: Sophia, Känzele: Just in Time, Känzele: Via Johanna, and more, all located approximately 0.77 kilometers from the start.
Throughout the hike, you will also find parking areas for your convenience, some located right at the beginning of the trail. Keep an eye out for the Gebhardsberg viewpoint offering panoramic views, as well as the Känzele: Quergang rock formation and the Burg Hohenbregenz historic castle, adding historical and geological interest to your journey.
With a total distance of 1.577 kilometers and an elevation gain of 132 meters, this hike is rated as easy and suitable for hikers of all levels.
