This challenging hiking route covers a distance of approximately 13.27 kilometers with an elevation gain of 365 meters, taking about 4 hours to complete. The trail is rated as extremely difficult due to its length and elevation changes.

Starting in a beautiful natural area, the hike offers various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find a parking area for your convenience. As you make your way, you'll come across the Herrgotteiche wayside shrine located 1.88 kilometers from the start.

Further along the route, at around 5.37 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the Hochkogel peak, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, there are several benches scattered along the trail for hikers to take a break and enjoy the scenery.

Around the midway point of the hike, at 5.81 kilometers from the start, there is a picnic site where you can rest and refuel before continuing your journey. As you approach the end of the trail, at approximately 3.72 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Dreimarkstein peak, providing another opportunity to take in the panoramic views.
