This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Rifugio Antonella Panepucci-Alessandri, located on Strada Provinciale 86 del Vasto in L'Aquila. The route is a circular one, covering a distance of 15.156 kilometers with an elevation gain of 785 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will test your endurance.
As you set off on the trail, you will come across various points of interest that will enhance your hiking experience. About 7.22 kilometers from the start, you will reach Rifugio Antonella Panepucci-Alessandri, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy the stunning views of the surroundings.
Further along the trail, at 2.52 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water source to refill your water bottles. As you continue, you will encounter a peak at 7.32 kilometers from the start, offering panoramic views of the landscape.
