Welcome to the Route des Crêtes hiking trail!
This scenic route takes you through a beautiful area with diverse points of interest to discover along the way. The trail is 5.314 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 289 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike that will take approximately 1 hour and 57 minutes to complete.
As you embark on the journey, you will come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, just 0.09 kilometers from the start, you will find Lac de Blanchemer, a picturesque lake perfect for a peaceful moment of relaxation. Further along, at 2.19 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter Maison de la Nature du Rothenbach, an interesting attraction to explore.
Midway through the trail, at 1.79 kilometers from the start, you will discover Source de la Thur, a refreshing spring where you can replenish your water supply. Additionally, at 2.29 kilometers, there is a picnic site ideal for a rest and a snack with a lovely view.
Towards the end of the route, at 2.53 kilometers from the start, you will reach Col du Rothenbach, a saddle point offering a great vantage point of the surroundings. Parking areas are conveniently located at various points along the trail for easy access.
