Starting at the trailhead, you will find convenient parking facilities for your vehicle before embarking on your journey. As you make your way along the trail, about 1.68 kilometers from the start, you will come across a couple of benches where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Further along, at approximately 1.89 kilometers into the hike, there is a picturesque viewpoint that offers a breathtaking vantage point of the landscape.

Around the midway point, at 1.73 kilometers from the start, there is another viewpoint worth stopping at to admire the panoramic views. As you continue your trek, at 1.1 kilometers from the start, you will encounter more benches for resting and taking in the natural beauty. Additionally, there is another viewpoint at 0.21 kilometers from the start, providing a perfect spot to appreciate the journey so far.

Towards the end of the trail, just 0.14 kilometers from the start, you will find parking facilities once again as you complete the out-and-back route. The Rim Trail offers a leisurely hike with various points of interest along the way, making it a memorable outdoor experience.
