This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding the Cima di Velega / Cime de Vélègue peak. With a total distance of 9.312 kilometers and an elevation gain of 452 meters, this hike is classified as difficult due to its length and elevation.

Starting at the parking area located at the beginning of the trail, you will first come across the Caserme ruins approximately 3.86 kilometers into the hike. Continuing on, you will pass by several boundary stones marking significant points along the trail.

At around 4.66 kilometers, you will reach the Rifugio Don Barbera, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning mountain views. From there, you can choose to continue towards the Cima di Velega / Cime de Vélègue peak, which offers a challenging but rewarding climb.
