Hiking : Monte Boral

This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Monte Boral area. The total distance of the hike is 7.11 kilometers with an elevation gain of 175 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before setting off on the trail. Approximately 2.53 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a water source, perfect for refilling your water bottles and taking a refreshing break.

Further along the trail, at 2.49 kilometers from the start, you will find the Rifugio Alpino Pian delle Femene, a cozy mountain restaurant where you can rest and refuel with some delicious local cuisine. Nearby, you can also visit the Alpini di Lago artwork showcasing the beauty of the area.

Continuing on, at the 3.56-kilometer mark, you will reach the peak of Monte Boral, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to take some time to appreciate the natural beauty before heading back on the trail.

Throughout the hike, you may come across points of interest such as a memorial and a wayside cross, adding cultural significance to your outdoor adventure. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen, as well as checking the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging trek.
