This hiking route takes you to the beautiful Wasserfall Turtmann area, offering stunning views and a relaxing outdoor experience. The trail is super easy, covering a distance of 0.796 kilometers with an elevation gain of 67 meters, and can be completed in around 21 minutes.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Luftseilbahn Turtmann-Ems parking area, located just 12 meters from the trailhead. Feel free to park your vehicle here before embarking on the hike. Along the way, around 400 meters into the trail, you will encounter the majestic Wasserfall Turtmann waterfall, a perfect spot to take in the natural beauty and snap some photos.
For your convenience, there is a drinking water source located just 50 meters from the start of the trail, at the Hopschilbrunnen fountain. Make sure to stay hydrated throughout your hike. Additionally, you will find a bench situated 360 meters into the trail, providing a nice resting spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
As you make your way back, there is another parking area located just 50 meters from the end of the trail, making it easy to return to your vehicle. Remember to pack plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this picturesque hike.
