Welcome to the Passage des Eaux Noires hiking route! This extremely difficult 32.128-kilometer trail with an elevation gain of 1922 meters will challenge even the most experienced hikers. The route begins at Parking Bus, where you can leave your vehicle before starting your journey.

As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across various points of interest. About 4.1 kilometers from the start, you'll find Lac de la Chambre, a beautiful lake where you can take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings. Further along, at around 6.17 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter Lacs du Borgne, offering another picturesque spot to rest and refuel.

For those in need of shelter, there is Refuge du Saut located approximately 12.84 kilometers from the start. This alpine hut provides a cozy place to rest and recharge before continuing your trek. Additionally, there are several restaurants and informational points along the trail where you can grab a bite to eat or learn more about the area.

As you journey back, be sure to stop by Lac des Fées and Lac du Montaulever, located at around 11.12 and 2.44 kilometers from the start, respectively. These stunning lakes offer a perfect spot to relax and take in the natural beauty of your surroundings.
