This hiking route will take you through the stunning Muttakopf area, offering breathtaking views and a challenging trek.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across Kobler Alm, a cozy alpine hut where you can rest and refuel after 1.22 kilometers into your hike. As you continue onwards, you will pass by a convenient parking area at the beginning of the trail. Be sure to take a break at the bench located along the trail to catch your breath and take in the surrounding nature.

After hiking 3.88 kilometers, you will reach the majestic Kreuzjoch peak, slightly off the trail, offering a panoramic view of the surroundings. Further ahead at 4.79 kilometers, you will encounter the impressive Rotspitze peak, right along the trail.

Midway through the hike, at 5.47 kilometers, you will reach the peak of In der Keil, offering a challenging ascent and rewarding views. Finally, after a total of 6.9 kilometers, you will reach the ultimate destination - the summit of Muttakopf.

With a total distance of 13.794 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1131 meters, this hike is rated as extremely difficult. Make sure to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking boots, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
