This hiking route in the E4 area offers a super easy trek with a distance of 1.618 kilometers and an elevation gain of 72 meters. The trail starts at a convenient parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on your journey.
As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across various points of interest. Near the beginning of the route, you'll find the Monastery of Agios Nikolaos Anapafsas, a historic attraction with beautiful architecture and intriguing history. Further along, about 0.64 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the Cave Entrance of the Monks' Prison, adding a sense of mystery to your hike.
As you continue on, at approximately 0.79 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Meteora Monastery, another historic site that showcases the region's cultural heritage. Along the way, you'll also pass by the Bench facility, perfect for a quick rest stop, and a Drinking Water station to stay hydrated.
For stunning views, make sure to visit the Viewpoint located about 0.81 kilometers from the start. And don't miss the archaeological site of Agios Ioannis tou Prodromou, offering a glimpse into the area's ancient past.
