Welcome to the Tanková cesta hiking route! This trail is located in a beautiful area with historical landmarks and stunning viewpoints.

As you begin your hike, you will pass by the Masarykov dom building, a historic site just 0.01 kilometers from the starting point. Further along the trail, you will come across the Bystrička information point at the beginning of the hike. Make sure to stop by and learn more about the area before continuing on your journey.

As you make your way through the 9.366-kilometer route, you will encounter the Rozhľadňa nad Bystričkou viewpoint at 1.81 kilometers into the hike. Take a break here to enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, the Pizzeria restaurant is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail, allowing you to refuel before continuing on.

Midway through your hike, you will find the Pamätník SNP memorial, a historic site just 0.01 kilometers off the trail. Take a moment to reflect on the significance of this memorial before heading back.

The Tanková cesta route is considered difficult due to its 259.0 meters of elevation gain and the length of the trail. Make sure to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking attire. Be sure to check the weather forecast before embarking on your journey to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
