This extremely difficult 12.74-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you through the breathtaking area of Bergerie d'Alzeta on the T20 trail. The trail has an elevation gain of 1018 meters and is estimated to take around 5 hours and 29 minutes to complete.
As you start your hike, you will come across the Col de Vizzavona saddle, just 0.09 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at 0.49 kilometers, you will find an information point about the natural territory. Along the way, you will also encounter the historical ruins of Fort de Vizzavona, which is located right by the trail, and an old road called A strada antica - Vizzavona Carbuccia, at a distance of 0.09 kilometers from the start.
Around 1.22 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Bergerie des Pozzi shelter, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Nearby, at the same distance, you will find the Fontaine des bergeries des Pozzi, offering a refreshing water source.
As you continue on the trail, you will pass by various informational points, including one about the peak Punta di Zorpi located 5.87 kilometers away and another about the peak with a viewpoint at 4.13 kilometers from the start.
The hike will also take you to a parking area at the beginning of the trail, making it convenient for hikers to start their adventure. However, it is crucial to note that some points of interest are located slightly off the trail, so make sure to keep an eye out for signs to explore these attractions.
