This hiking route takes you through the scenic area near Maroochy River Golf Club on David Low Way in the Sunshine Coast Regional. The trail is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 3.051 kilometers and no elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start the hike, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. Approximately 1.53 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water feature where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
Further along the trail, at around 0.96 kilometers from the start, there is another water feature, followed by additional water points at 0.78, 0.88, 1.12, and 1.41 kilometers respectively. These spots provide opportunities to rest and refuel before continuing on the trail.
Around midway through the hike, at 0.85 kilometers from the start, you will encounter another water feature. As you approach the end of the trail, approximately 1.53 kilometers from the start, there is a final water spot, although it is slightly off the trail.
It is recommended to bring an adequate supply of water, especially on warmer days, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on the hike. With its easy difficulty level and multiple water points along the way, this route offers a pleasant and relaxing outdoor experience for hikers of all ages.
