This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area around Porrejón Bajero. The trail is 14.056 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 866 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before starting the hike. Along the trail, you will encounter several points of interest. About 7.03 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the peak of Porrejón Bajero, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Continuing on, at 1.74 kilometers from the start, you will come across Collado de Matalinares, a saddle where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery. Further along the trail, at around 6.6 kilometers from the start, you will find another peak with breathtaking views.
Throughout the hike, there are opportunities to refill your water supply. At the beginning of the trail, there is a drinking water source located just 0.0 kilometers from the start. Additionally, there is a fountain nearby at the same distance. Another drinking water source is located midway through the hike, around 3.68 kilometers from the start.
Due to the length and difficulty of the hike, it is essential to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear.
