Welcome to the hiking route to Peilstein! This scenic trail offers a 3.3 km round trip with an elevation gain of 205 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The route will take approximately 1 hour and 16 minutes to complete.

Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, you will first come across an information point just 90 meters into the hike. Here, you can learn more about the area and its surroundings before continuing on. Along the way, you will also pass by a viewpoint, Aussichtspunkt Peilstein, which offers stunning panoramic views just 1.65 km from the start.

As you make your way further along the trail, you will reach the peaks of Peilstein and Franzenshöhe, both of which provide breathtaking sights and photo opportunities. These peaks are located approximately 1.65 km and 1.4 km from the start, respectively.

Throughout the hike, you will find benches to rest and take in the beautiful scenery. Remember to bring plenty of water and snacks, as well as to check the weather forecast before setting out. Additionally, be prepared for uneven terrain and wear appropriate footwear for a safe and enjoyable experience.
