This hiking route offers a moderate challenge, with a total distance of approximately 4.6 kilometers and an elevation gain of 308 meters. The duration of the hike is estimated to be around 1 hour and 49 minutes.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first pass by a parking area before heading towards a viewpoint at 0.71 kilometers from the start. This early viewpoint offers stunning scenic views and is a great spot to take in the surroundings. As you continue on the trail, you will come across a couple of information points providing insights into the area's history and wildlife.
Around 1.49 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water source off the trail, followed by another water point at 1.63 kilometers. It is recommended to refill your water bottles at these locations as there are no other water sources along the way.
Further along the trail, at 1.63 kilometers, there is a restaurant named La Capannina where you can take a break and enjoy a meal or a snack. The trail also passes by a free flying site for paragliding enthusiasts, located 0.78 kilometers from the start, and a takeoff site for free flying at 1.49 kilometers.
