This challenging 8.187-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Refuge du Fond d'Aussois. The trail starts at Parking du Plan d'amont, where you can leave your vehicle before beginning your adventure.
As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, you'll pass by the Site de pêche de Plan d'Amont, where you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings of a fishing site. Further along the trail, you'll encounter informational points such as La cembraie de Plan d'Amont and Plan d'Amont, where you can learn more about the area's history and natural features.
Midway through the hike, you'll reach Chalet de Marie, a picturesque spot where you can rest and take in the stunning views. As you continue on, you'll pass by Refuge du Fond d'Aussois, a refuge where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.
