This hiking route to Punta Rasciassa is located in a picturesque area with stunning natural landscapes. The trail is 14.734 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1539 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area just 2.071 kilometers from the trailhead. Make sure to park your vehicle securely before beginning the hike. Along the way, at the 0.91 kilometer mark, you'll find a drinking water point where you can refill your water bottles.
Midway through the trail, at 6.52 kilometers from the start, you will reach Colle di Luca, a beautiful saddle where you can take a rest and enjoy the panoramic views. Continuing onwards, at the 2.68 kilometer mark, there is an information point to learn more about the area's history and geography.
As you approach the end of the trail, at 0.66 kilometers before reaching Punta Rasciassa, you will encounter a mesmerizing waterfall (82.908 meters from the trail). Finally, at 7.37 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Punta Rasciassa, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
