Welcome to the ancient Nabatean incense route in the Negev Desert! This hiking trail offers a glimpse into history with various points of interest along the way. Starting at the parking area, you will make your way through the desert landscape, surrounded by stunning views.
About 0.04 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a Roman villa, followed by a Beit Hava (farmhouse) at 0.18 kilometers. As you continue, you'll come across the Nabatean Settlement at 0.36 kilometers, offering insight into ancient civilizations. A lookout tower at 0.28 kilometers provides a panoramic view of the surrounding desert.
Further along the trail, at around 0.52 kilometers, you'll find a Dwelling and various ruins including Orevot, a Byzantine quarter, a decorated chamber, a Roman tower, and more. These ruins offer a fascinating look into the past.
For a unique experience, visit the Burial cave about 0.04 kilometers from the start. This cave, with its historical significance, adds depth to your journey along the trail.
